The human mind is wired to securely seek safety, comfort, familiarity, and predictability, this allows people to fear the outcome of change. People tend to familiarize themselves with what they already know and which brings about comfort, and what they can manipulate and control even if it doesn't provide any pleasure.

Change is like an entrepreneur introducing a new product to the market. Is it accepted by everyone immediately? Or does it take time to gain acceptance?

Think about why many businessmen prefer selling existing products or following traditional methods. Often, it’s because they fear taking risks - they fear leaving the comfort of what they already know
