What is the difference between confidence and arrogance?

Confidence comes from self-belief, humility, and the ability to value others while trusting your own abilities. Arrogance, on the other hand, often reflects insecurity masked by superiority and a lack of respect for others. This discussion explores the fine line between the two and how true confidence can be expressed without losing humility

Confidence and arrogance are two different dimensions, but when combined in the wrong way, they become pride.

Confidence is self-belief, believing in your abilities even when the world says you cannot. It means not giving up, accepting constructive criticism, and working on your weaknesses. Confidence is trusting your abilities even before you see results. It is something vital to carry with you.

Confidence and arrogance wear similar clothing,
but their spirits are worlds apart.
Confidence is a calm river.

What is the difference between confidence and arrogance?

At my aspect of view, confidence is the courage to do something well knowing you or anyone will not be hurt. Sometimes, it can also be ones ability to do something without the fear of being exposed and this is what we call living a simple free minded life.

Whilst arrogance is always depicted in ways where one is so cruel to other people because of the fear that the people will expose what he or she is doing.

Confidence says "I know my value" and arrogance asserts "I must prove my value". The thin line between the two is drawn from not how one thinks of themselves but generally how they treat and behave towards others.

Confidence and arrogance may look the same, however rooted in different trunks. Confidence stems from self-awareness, knowing the strengths, weaknesses, worth and values without having to crush others down, steady, accepts corrections, its receptive, is an active listener, inspires
