Destiny Konzo, born in Manzvire, Chipinge, Zimbabwe, is a debut poet who weaves threads of personal experiences and observation. Destiny's collection dives into the brittleness of human relationships, the deagening sound of heartbreak, and the gradual healing that follows.

Growing up, Destiny was always curious about the way the world and it's relationships work, often questioning the reality and existence of love. Her fascination with writing was nurtured by her father, a poet and a storyteller, whose creative endeavours captivated her from a young age. She would write short poems and stories, excitedly sharing them with her father, who instilled in her love for words. With the seed of writing inherited from her father and shaped by her own experiences, Destiny continues to nurture her passion for poetry.
As the third-born of four siblings, Destiny's creative spirit was further fostered by her upbringing. Currently residing in Bungeni, Limpopo, South Africa, Destiny finds solace in writing, drawing and damcing. With a passion for helping the needy, Destiny aspires to be a motivational speaker and hopes to one day start an orphanage. Through her writing and art, Destiny aims to inspire and uplift others.
