Fazmina Mansoor is a passionate educator dedicated to shaping future generations through authentic Islamic education and strong moral values. With broad teaching experience, she inspires students to excel academically while fostering ethical and spiritual growth.
Her career includes serving as an Islam Teacher at Iman Academy (June-August 2024) and as a Teacher at Mount Hira International School (2023-2024), where she taught Islamic Studies to Grades 7-11 under the Edexcel syllabus. She delivered structured lessons, mentored Grade 9 students as class-in-charge, and integrated values-based learning into English, Islamic Studies, and Arabic. From 2014 to 2023, she also tutored English privately, emphasizing grammar, writing, and literature analysis to improve proficiency and academic success.
Beyond teaching, Fazmina has professional experience in administration and logistics. She worked as Secretary at Access Agencies (2006-2007), providing clerical and organizational support, and later as Logistics Coordinator at Vijitha Yapa Bookshop, managing special orders, coordinating with publishers, and overseeing library resources to support academic development.
Her educational background includes a BA in Islamic Studies from the International Open University, where she was Chairperson of the Student Committee representing Sri Lanka, and a Diploma in Computer Science from ILMA International School. She also completed a Da'wah course at the Messengers of Peace Academy.
Fluent in English and Sinhala, with proficiency in Arabic and basic Tamil, Fazmina is skilled in communication, public relations, and leadership. As a member of the Panadura Toastmasters Club, she continues to enhance her speaking and interpersonal abilities, while remaining committed to education and lifelong learning.
