Rev. Dr. Koningthung Ngoru Moyon is a distinguished theologian, educator, and prolific author from Penaching Village, Chandl District, Manipur. A passionate advocate for faith-based leadership and cultural preservation, he blends biblical scholarship with deep community engagement. Currently serving as President of the International Association for Biblical Education (IABE) and Chairman of the International Institute for Biblical Studies(IIBS), India Branch, he has mentored hundreds of pastors, theologians, and students across India and beyond.
Dr. Moyon holds eight doctoral degrees in theology and leadership from institutions in India, South Africa. and the USA. He teaches as Adjunct Faculty at multiple theological colleges, including Manipur Theological College and Genesis Theological Institute.
As an author of over 12 books. including The Lost Kingdom of Moyon(Bujuur) and Insights of the Local Church Administration, his writings explore contextual theology, church governance, fatherhood, tribal identity. His academic contributions serve as vital resources across India, especially in the Northeast.
He has held several leadership roles, including with the Manipur Baptist Convention, MYNBA, and Chandel Naga Intellectual Forum. A recipient of numerous honors, including the Global Icons of India Lifetime me Achievement Award 2025, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Rashtriya Samman, and Best Author of the Year 2021, his legacy reflects visionary leadership rooted in Christian values.
